Speech & Pronunciation

Can you help me to check for my mistakes in this exercise of intonation.

Say these pairs of utterances aloud, pausing slightly where marked (/), and see if you can distingguish the differences of meaning in each:
a, 1. I like Elizabethan drama and poetry.
2. I like Elizabethan drama / and poetry.
My explain:
a1: the speaker likes Elizabethan drama and Elizabethan poetry.
a2: the speaker likes Elizabethan drama and poetryin general.
b, 1. She went to answer the phone hoppefully.
2. She went to answer the phone / hoppefully.
My explain:
b1: hopefully refers to the way she went.
b2: 'hopefully" is the speaker's opinion about the whole sentence.
c, 1. We didn't marry him because of his looks.
2. We didn't marry him / because of his looks.
My explain:
c1: the speaker married him but not for his looks.
c2: the speaker didn't marry him and his looks was the main reason.
d, 1. The passengers who didn't have tickets / were fined.
2. The passengers / who didn't have tickets / were fined.
e, 1. We prefer dancing to music.
2, We prefer dancing / to music.

Please help me with sentences d and e, I can not understand the difference between them. Thank you very much.
