Dear Profxxxx I am writing this email to apply for the M.Sc. position in Bio-Robotics and Control that you have advertised on your web site. I am really happy to find an open M.Sc. studentship in an interesting area especially in Robotics.
At beginning, let me introduce myself. My name is Emad M. Awwad. I am a teaching assistant in Industrial Electronics and Control Engineering Dept, Faculty of Electronic Engineering, Menofia University,Egypt.
I would like to inform you that i have finished the B.Sc. degree in Electronic Engineering (Major –Automatic Control Engineering) and my overall undergraduate studies have been proved immensely fruitful. With regard to ranking, I have been ranked the second in the department among a total of 362 students with (Excellent with Honor Degree 88.09%) (2011). During my work as a teaching assistant, I have been exposed to work in an active research group that focuses on Applied Control Systems. Thus, I got a deep knowledge in the following research areas.

I have also read a lot of highly specialized books, papers, and online courses in Machine Learning and Robotics. I do not like to make my email much more long by talking about them. Thanks to this solid background opened my eyes to many interesting research topics in Robotics.
I am really interested to join this studentship in your esteemed lab, because I feel like I've found what I'm looking for. I am looking forward to reach the boundaries even further, and make new creations under your leadership and guidance in this area. This is what prompted me to write this e-mail.
I beg your pardon; I have attached the following documents hopefully for better consideration of my application. Because I felt from the announcement that whenever submission faster the better.
1- CV with Contact Details of Referees. 2- B.Sc. Certificate and Transcripts.
Last but not least, you will find me not only one of the most students, but the most one of them cooperated, pursuant, and diligent. I put a slogan towards my eyes is - do not see your time is running out, and your age goes without producing useful and beneficial things -.
We are waiting for confirmation and looking forward to hear good news from you and I am so sorry for this too long email.
Thank you for your time.
Sincerely, Emad Awwad. Emad M. Awwad.
