Overall, The Handheld Games increased every year and took the highest sales around the world. The opposite was true for The Console Games. While the Mobile phones and Online Games were sold from 2001 to 2006 and went up each year.

In 2000, When the Mobile Phones and Online Games did not appear, The Handheld Games took the highest amounts of money from global sales, about 18 billion dollars while The Console Games just had almost 6 billion dollars. While the Handheld Games still increased gradually to reach 18 billion dollars in 2006, The Console Games slightly decreased to about 3 billion dollars in 2006 and took the shortest global sales in four types of games.

From 2001 to 2002, the Mobile Phones and Online Games showed up and sold about 1 and 2 billion dollars, respectively. The amount of money from those still increased in 2004 when The Mobile Phones and Online Games were almost equal. After 2004, The Online Games sharply increased from 5 to 9 billion in 2006, which is higher than The Mobile Phone Games just 2 billion dollars.
