I AM NOT A VERY TALENTED WRITER Psychology is full of, theories, research, and professional practice. Each individuals way of thinking about their mind, brain and behavior, seemed to be questioned would it make life better knowing in any way? Of course it would. Psychology has made some fundamental contributions to our individual lives, whether we notice it or not. They believed to be incorporated into the way we think about certain objectives, and influence our own attitudes. Also believed how we perceive the world, and our belief of how it should run, neat and organized to its full extent. Believe it or not psychology does not really get credit for it, we just pursue it as our own thoughts and minds thinking. But if we didn’t have Psychology and researchers looking into it, we would develop or know half of the origins of how everything develops into the brain, and why we think. Do blood tests, performance tests, and SATS sound familiar? Bet they do because, it developed from what we know psychology. Alfred Binet a psychologist was the first to measure intellectual performance, and biased judgments of employers, and teachers by valid and reliable normal tests. The biggest testing in the world is classified as, Armed Services Vocational Aptitude battery; it has been given to 2 million enlisted people annually. Positive reinforcement is now used throughout today’s world. Time-outs are now used to represent the child, or individual pursuing a wrong behavior that is negative. Therefore they are placed in an “x”amount of minutes in time-out. To think about their actions and cool off. Psychological therapies have been developed by practitioners. Conforming and creating a range of treatments designed for couples, families, groups and for those in rehabilitation from illegal drugs, from addictions divorce and shyness. Basically physiologists developed a cognitive approach to help all those different types of patients. Parenting has developed into a broad spectrum and may an enjoying or miserable experience. Children need to develop secure attachments to the parents or whoever is watching them for a while. A general bond between the child and parents is the most important. Successful companies and business can thank psychology ten folds. Back from the old times, factory assemblies’s developed and have begun to industrialize. They hire workers to do the same repetitive, mindless task, resembling robot ideologies and tasks. Some Japanese automakers replaced assembly lines with small work teams, operating on the same conditions. The group was easier to work with, with completing the same tasks but not as boring as one individual would do it. Just for that business have been successful in creating a mass amount of quality products, because the humanizing impact psychology had on industrial work. Highlights of psychology’s real world relevance can be determined through the process it has compelled, and influenced. Human factors small examples such as, when the lights red we know not to go, and when the lights green we go. Our brains developed the repetition of knowing when to go and stop, doing this helped create a safer environment to drive in. The new innovations, such as medical advances saved the lives of many premature infants who were born earlier. I.C.U has greatly prolonged the expectancy of premature infants. The psychologists researched what the premature infants would need, such as oxygen tubes, and special food-tube. They researched and concluded what they would need, and here we are today, a success. Recognizing the contributions, and effort of many different psychologists such as Martin Seligman, Zimbardo, and George Miller have done. Come to a conclusion that it has effected human life diversfully and positively. It really does make a difference.
