Can you help me find the my passive and active erros and if my sentences are balanced

Andrew Carnegie came to America from Scotland. He worked as a factory hand, a telegrapher, and a railway clerk to support himself. His savings from these jobs were invested in oil and later in the largest steel works in the country. Historians do not agree in their assignments of Carnegie. Some have considered him a cruel taskmaster and others a benevolent benefactor. His contribution to American society, however; cannot be denied. He established public libraries all across the country and spent much time in promoting peace. Good or bad, he ranks as one of our most noteworthy nineteenth immigrants.
