The graphs below show the enrolments of overseas students and local students in Australian universities over a ten year period.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The graph shows how students abroad and students in the country enrol in universities in Australia for 10 years from 2001 to 2010. It always increase in students who traveled from another country, but oscillate with local students.

The commencing of overseas students has a constant upward-trend from 2001 to 2006, until 20000 students. The number of students abroad went up sharply from 2006 to 2009, and there was a slight increase from 2009 to 2010, approximately 40000 students. On the other hand, there was an enormous climb in the total of overseas students. It went up from 20000 students to 80000 in just 10 years.

Next, the commencing of local students in Australia was a little bit of fluctuating. It increased considerbly from 2001 to 2002 from under 200000 to approximatly 250000 student, but there was a constant decrease from 2002 to 2006, from 230000-240000 students to under 200000. It climbed again from 2006 to 2010, but there was a slight upward-trend one more time. However, the total of students in location developed very very tremendously from 200000 to over 600000 from 2001 to 2007, and stay stably 3 years after.

In conclusion, the enrolments of students who travel from another country and students in Australia is clearly different. It always higher through years with overseas students, but there were a few of fluctuation in local students.
