3.In the modern world, the image (photograph or film) is becoming a more powerful way of communicating than the written word.

To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Nowadays, we communicate with others by various ways. Some people suppose that the image has stronger effect on communicating than by written word. In my opinion, I totally agree with this idea.

First and foremost, image, such as photo and film, spreads the idea more attractively. Photos and films describe things more vividly and concretely. For example,image containing colors, shapes with special corner of camera, can create strong emotion to viewer. Moreover, image such as film can also have substitute and language to spread exactly what the author want to say. Through conversation of characters in film, the audience can interpret the story clearly. Last but not least, image generates detailed context for viewer easily to understand. A photo, for instance, includes space, light, objects and it tell a full story about character inside.

In short, image is considered as a powerful way of communication in the modern world and I have no suspicion that it is more powerful than written word in communicating with viewer.
