1.It is important for children to learn the difference between right and wrong at an early age.Punishment is necessary to help them learn this distinction.To what extent do you agree or disagree with this opinion?

What sort of punishment should parents and teachers be allowed to use to teach good behaviour to children?

Some people believe that punishment is necessary to teach children behave properly.I agree with this idea.

Punishment is one of many methods to show right and wrong for kid.It is quite useful because children are not aware of norms and institutions, they also can not differentiate right and wrong through adults speech. We need to show action to affect them .Human is also a species of animal. And our behaviour can be taught through action, specially punishment. For example a kid punished can recognise what he should do and what should not.

However, the adults should use punishment wisely to teach children. There are some punishments that should be permitted to teach kids about right and wrong. First, the adults can restrict some activities of children when they do something wrong. For example, parents will ban kids from watching TV if they litter to the road. It makes children understand that littering to the road is unacceptable. Second, parents and teacher can punish kids by forcing them do something. For instance, if the kid does something wrong, teacher will force him to stand at one place for a long time turn his face into the wall. Third, the teacher and parents can collaborate in teaching good behavior for kid by forbidling him to go school in short period or long period.

In short, punishment is essential in teaching kids process. Nevertheless the adult must use it reasonably and avoid overuseing with kids.
