The chart below shows the annual pay (thousands of US dollars) for doctors and other workers in seven countries in 2004.


The bar chart compares seven different nations in terms of yearly salary for their doctors and other workers in the year 2004.

Overall, the annual earnings of doctors were higher than other workers of all countries. In addition, the United States paid the highest the amount of dollars for their doctors and workers compared to other countries.

By 2004, US doctors earned 120 thousand dollars a year, double that of doctors in Italy, Czech Republic and Germany. France and Switzerland paid the same annual wages for doctors, at about 70000 dollars. While the yearly earnings of doctors in Finland were the lowest, at around 50000 dollars.

In the same year, concerning annual pay for other workers, the US took the top position again at around 43 thousand dollars, followed by Switzerland and France with approximately 40 and 35 thousand dollars respectively. Interestingly, workers in Italy, Czech Republic and Germany received the same amount of salary, at precise 20 000 dollars per year.
