Can you hear "he" here? (from the movie Wanted)

It's from a movie called "Wanted". The conversation goes like this:
Sloan: A member of this fraternity went rogue.
Wesley: Cross.
Sloan: He started by killing the one man who was better than him. Your father. Blindsided him on a rooftop. Betrayed him. Everything in this room, books, weapons, clothes, belonged to him. Now they belong to you.

The italicized line can be heard in this link.

Honestly, I don't hear "He" at all. Did he really say it?
If not, why did he leave it out?
Also, why did the transcriber in the link put it back there??

The link audio starts at the word 'He', so we cannot judge how it sounds in context. The editing may have been imprecise.

Actually, I have the whole clip that shows that the editing is precise. If you don't hear "he" in that sound clip, it's not there.
