Graduating from Vietnam National University of Agriculture (VNUA), now i am working as an researcher at Faculty of Economics and Rural Development (FERD) - VNUA. After a period of learning and working here, I acknowledge that land is not only the site of production but also is an important natural resource. During the last three decades, the agricultural policies, especially land policy, have been renovated, been able to exploit and develop agriculture potential in Vietnam. However, there may be no sustainable development in agriculture sector. (The main causes for this situation are the slow process of land accumulation and concentration due to thinking hold land of farmer). In the meanwhile, Hi-tech agriculture has been highly promoted to improve the quality and quantity of agricultural commodities. Therefore, having large land fund for Hi-tech agricultural is one of the neccessary element.
So I look forward to participating with the purpose of exchanging with researchers and administrators on land in the Mekong region, finding out method help farmer use land effectively.
