The given pie charts indicate the percentage of power generated by different sectors, including gas, coal, petrol, nuclear and other over a ten-year period starting from 1995.
According to the illustration, it is clearly evident that the patterns of the value acquired by five areas differ over the time frame. The proportion of the energy produced from gas and coal remained constant, whereas that of nuclear and other sections witnessed an upward trend and the petroleum tended to drop dramatically.
At the beginning of the period, the allocation of power constituted from gas and coal account for a vast majority of the total, in turn, accounted for 29.63% and 29.8%. These number stayed unchanged, so they were 30.31% and 30,93% over the following ten years.
In 1995, the value of power created from nuclear and other section represented a very small number, equivalent to 6.4% and 4.9% respectively. The number, in turn, had climbed significantly to 10.1% and 9.1% by 2005. An opposite trend could be observed in the petrol resources, this level make up less than a third of the whole, this figure dropped considerably to only one-fifth of the total at the end of this period.
