Can you fix a sentence that sounds weird?

Many students these days depend on their parents or teachers a lot because it is difficult for them to solve difficult problems. On the other hand, some Korean students only do not depend on their parents or teachers. That is because they can do work independently even though they need much more time. As a result, it is difficult for many Korean students to have an ability to do thier work independently after they are mature. It other way, being different from others can be motivation of a nation.
