The fact that you don't think having to wear black socks as opposed to white when wearing a black suit is standard is outrageous.

It’s correct, but I would replace having to with wearing. The fact that you don't think wearing black socks as opposed to white when wearing a black suit is standard is outrageous. Better still, to my ear: It’s outrageous that you don’t think wearing black socks instead of white when wearing a black suit is standard.

Better still, to my ear:
