Can you correct the part of email?

When booking a room in your hotel online, I couldn't help noticing the asterisks * "no capacity for extra beds in room". I called the hotel and asked to have an extra bed placed in my room to which they answered that they could at a cost of $20 per night. Based on that information I invited a third party to come with us. Now you are telling us that the person made a mistake and no extra beds can be put.

Here is how I would word your email (I also fixed your punctuation):

Ok but is it correct to say
"Could you cancel this room with the 2 room booking please?"

if if you have a booking for 3 rooms and finally you only need 2.

Thank you

I am sorry, but your sentences are not clear to me.

Do you want to say:
Could you cancel this booking for a double-occupancy room?
(So no room is being booked.)

Or do you want to say:
Could you please change my booking from a three-bed to a two-bed room?
(So a room is booked, but for fewer people.)

Or something else?

If you have a reservation for 3 rooms, and you decided to cancel one room, so you end up only having 2 rooms.

Is it correct to say 'Could you cancel one of the room within my booking/reservation.

Is it correct to say 'I have a reservation for 3 people/for 3 rooms?

Thank you

You can say: Could you cancel one of the three rooms I booked earlier (or: I made a reservation for earlier).

You can say either: I have a reservation for three people.
Or: I have a reservation for three rooms.
But they do not mean the same thing. (Because it is not clear that each person gets a room.)
