Can you correct my report?

I have been asked this question: "If a passenger felt ill, what would you do?" (The context is a situation on board a plane, where I am a Cabin Crew member).

I would answer in this way, tell me if there's something wrong:

"First of all I would ask him how he feels and I would try to calm him down, assuring him that everything will be alright. Then I would do my best to help him, but if the situation were quite serious I would immediately ask if there is a doctor among the passenger who could help us understand the situation better and whether the passenger needs to be rushed to hospital.
If the circumstances forced us to take the passenger to hospital I would ask pilots to divert, if it were possible, to the nearest airport so that, once we have landed, the passenger would be treated properly.

Some native speakers told me that I cannot say "how he feels" but I have to say "how he felt".. Also they have written "everything would be alright" instead of "everything will be alright". But other native spakers told me that my report is fine and they didn't made any corrections.

I'm a bit confused, please help me.

Thanks Emotion: smile
