Can you correct me?

For questions 1-12 read the text below and decide which answer (A, B, C or D) best fits each gap:


Chicago, which is situated beside Lake MIchigan, is famous for its shops. North Michigan Avenue has all the top designer shops, plus what is claimed to be the world's best popcorn store, Garrett's, which is so popular that people sometimes have to queue for hours to get (1) .....D..... .
