Can you correct me ?

My teacher asked me to create sentences
Please tell me if they are correct or not .
1- The boy seemed that he was in a hurry.
2- Her first novel displays a very unique sense of humor.
3- My most favorite subject is history.
4- Singapore is cleaner than Hong Kong but Hong Kong is the most interesting.
5- The country's main problem is economic.
6- Most of the visited government schools have very modern facilities.
7- My father and mother have worked hardly all their lives.
8- I have to say only one thing.
9- We had him to put a new lock on the door.

You should let your teacher see your sentences first. If you present him/her with perfect sentences you'll be expected to get everything right every time, and I can't help feeling that if you turn in perfect sentences your teacher will immediately suspect that you've had help.
