The charts reveal which common reasons for study according to the age of students and how many supports in term of time off and financial they received from managers.


It is clear that compared to the older group, the younger group mainly study for career and the proportion of employer support they received is much higher.


Students aged under 26 study for career accounting for 80% of the total whereas only 10% pursue because of interest. The older students get, the narrower the gap between two common reasons become. At the age of 40-49, the figure for those share the same proportion, at roughly 40%. However, students aged over 49 would prefer study for interest rather than for profession.


Of all age group, it is found that the greatest proportion of employer support is under 26 in the vicinity of 62% . By contrast, just around 30% of students aged 30-39 are received support from employers. As being older, students do not receive much help from their managers.
