Can you check my report?

As a flight attendant I have been asked this question: what would you do if you found a passenger smoking during the flight?

Here is my answer, tell me if there is something wrong.

"If I found a passenger who was smoking during the flight, I would immediately tell him to stop and inform my colleagues about the situation. Upon arrival I would inform the authorities about what happened, so that the passenger would be fined and at worst arrested. If, during the flight, he refused to comply with rules and kept smoking although our warnings, I wouldn't hesitate to inform the commander and ask him to divert, if it were possible, to the nearest airport, in order to hand the passenger over to the police as soon as possible, since his behaviour could be a danger to other passengers.
