Topic: The chart below shows average hours and minutes spent by UK males and females on different daily activities.
My essay:
The table compares the average amount of time that British men and women spend on their daily routines.
As is presented in the graph, it takes them more time to sleep than any other activities.
To be more specific, both genders have roughly one-third of a day to sleep, which accounts for the majority of their time. Recreational activities come in second, with men spending half an hour more than women. Further down the lists are daily missions, where there are significant differences in time-distribution patterns between two genders. Male residents work and study for longer hours than females, with 225 minutes and 146 minutes respectively. However, the amount of time intended by women for doing chores and child caring is twice as much as that by men.
When it comes to leisure, it is clear that watching TV/DVD and listening to the radio/music are the most popular activities in the British people's spare time, accounting for 170 minutes for men and 145 minutes for women. Social life and entertainment/ culture are less preferred; each male and female spends around 1.5 hours on these activities.
