A fever is beneficial to the health of the children

Many parents usually panic every time their child has a fever. In fact, fever is an essential part of the development process and it is a "friend" of the child.

Hannah Chow-Johnson, assistant professor from the School of Medicine, Loyola University (Chicago) said the fever was important because they help to fight infections.

"A fever may actually help children recover faster, especially if your child is sick by the virus," said Chow. Experts also said drinking antipyretics before the body performs the task of "self-defense" actually makes the recovery process more slowly because high temperatures can kills the bacteria.

Chow-Johnson gave some instructions about care when your child has a fever, as follows:

- A fever is way that the body responds to infection. You can not lower the body temperature immediately. To help your body fight better, let your child get plenty of rest, it also means don't woke them just to take medication. If your child is sleeping, let them have a good night's sleep.

In fact, I think that you can also say "Fever can be a symptom of a serious illness". This is also when you are talking about "fever" as a general medical condition.

You would say "the fever" if you wan

Hi vanan0905
I think that "at first sight" is the expression that is most commonly used. It means at the first view or impression of a thing. A very common expression is "love at first sight" when two people fall in love when they meet for the first time.

It does, however, depend on the rest of your sentence. I can think of some instances where it would be correct to use "at the first
