Essay & Composition Writing

Can you at least understand the writing? And is it flowery?

I just want to know if this the sole or main problem of the writing is being flowery. And supposing that it is can you still at least comprehend it?

Philosophy is loving wisdom. This perhaps is the vaguest the definition would ever become, because interpreting such endeavor demands the absence of etymology, for the terms shall not show its purpose. Love of knowledge, and search for truth at some point is broad and misleading definition as it does not clarify what concerns this field. Adhering to this definition makes philosophy only an umbrella, encompassing those fields seeking knowledge, and truth which basically is the concern of all courses. Loving wisdom then is a quality a philosopher should posses, yet suffices not the nature of the field. Philosophy is the field concerned for searching and creating values and meanings for existence, and actions. Existence pertains to ethics, of man and of nature. The term “action” shall deal with the normative aspects of this endeavor.

I'd say it's flowery, well to a certain extent. I suppose this is the kind of writing I'd expect to see from a philosopher (or a wannabe philosopher ). I have trouble interpreting some parts of that text.
