Hi!

Can you affirm something "to" somebody?
Here is my sentence:

Although there is no information at disposal of the company which would allow to evaluate the degree of risk of the pledge agreements, the company in Article 8 of the pledge agreement affirmed to the bank the financial condition and solvency of the borrower.
