Can we use present perfect simple with never, always, usually and etc

Dear teachers, can we use present perfect simple tense with never, always, usually and etc. instead  present simple tense by this way. If yes, then what is the difference? How do you understand these examples?

[ never ]
She never invites me for her birthday.
She has never invited me for her birthday.

[ always ]
She always invites me for her birthday.
She has always invited me for her birthday.

[ usually ]
She usually invites me for her birthday.
She has usually invited me for her birthday.

The basic difference is a reference to time. With the present perfect [ note the term for the tense ] there is an implication that the action may (or may not) continue in the future. She has never invited me for her birthday .
