Can we consider the word home as an adverb

Hi again , actualy I am wondering whether we could consider the word home as an adverb , because it works as an adverb in many expressions (according to my opinion) ,

for example ,,,

I want to go home . - it is like - I want to go out . out here is an adverb , so home is an adverb too .

to enhance my speach ,,,,, we cannot use ( the , a , to ) in that sentence .
