can u justify the expression?

You asked me...why do we live?

An ancient question and will remain so always....
Coming on earth was not our willfull choice, we hav been brought here by our parents, life was forced on us (so obviously it must be having some intrinsic aim in itself from the very beginning), we are probably here to find that aim.
Though our presence here was decided by nature.. reasons for living, we can choose ourselves.
I live, coz i want to live..cant pinpoint a single reason...but i am living to understand, to expand, to love, to enjoy and to grow for a contented and satisfied life.

No particular aim...but life itself is what i am living for happily.

(which milder word can i use for 'forced' ...forced seems too harsh)

Possibly, "Life was chosen for us," in the sense that we were not allowed to make the choice, yes or no?; not so much in the sense of "they chose life (rather than something else) for us."

The use of the passive makes it
