What’s more, we can learn ~~what~~ things we can’t ~~get~~ learn from books, (comma) and broaden our ~~horizon~~ horizons. (always a space after a period.) In short,reading the newspaper is of great importance for us students.

In the phrase "latest political situations of the world", OF is wrong; you could replace it with IN, but the whole phrase is clumsy. I suggest "current worldwide (or GLOBAL) political situation".
Your use of "from which" in this way sounds unnatural. The thing FROM WHICH you get the information is the newspaper itself, but the subject of that sentence is the "habit of reading the newspaper in our spare time", so FROM WHICH is not the best phrase to use.
The comma after BOOKS is desirable because at that point in the sentence, a complete thought or idea has been stated, so it's appropriate to have a short pause there. The rest of the sentence follows on from the first part (builds upon it) but is a separate idea. The comma is not NECESSARY, but I would put one there for that reason.
Finally, "us students" is considered bad English and indicative of a poor education; the reason is that US and STUDENTS are both nouns (in this sense, at least) and both mean effectively the same thing. Removing either of them will make the sentence grammatically correct, but does not convey the full information. I would suggest changing US to ALL.

Ignoring the errors in punctuation and word choice, this paragraph still has "issues". I often see writing by ESL/EFL students that has this problem: too many short sentences, with each sentence expressing only one or two ideas. I will re-word the whole paragraph to try to demonstrate how various features of English can be used to combine two or more ideas into a single sentence.

The role of newspapers is more important nowadays than ever before. They broaden our horizons by giving us up-to-date news and information on a variety of subjects, including global news and the current global political situation, which books cannot provide. It is very important that everyone, especially students, get into the habit of reading newspapers every day in their spare time.
