Can this be written better?

Culture is one of many dimensions of development, and while I’d gained insight into it through a particular group’s presentation, I do feel that their presentation was only a preamble to my understanding. This isn’t a criticism of their presentation as such, but more a criticism of the complexity of culture and development itself. There are six slides on their presentation, which if they had discussed only the definitions of both culture and development, would’ve fill all of them as well as requiring many more, and that’s not considering the criticisms, case studies, applications of the relationship between culture and development.
