Can the English verb mind be used in the meaning of recall ?

I am writing a thesis on ways of expressing mnemonic processes in English, and I need help from native English speakers regarding the potential of the verb mind in expressing the process of restoring information kept in memory. Some dictionaries define the meaning of mind as synonymous to recall , which I doubt. Which of the following sentences would you mark as correct in each group? 1) I remember my first day at school. I recall my first day at school. I mind my first day at school. 2) I don t remember my first day at school. I don t recall my first day at school. I don t mind my first day at school. 3) Do you remember your first day at school? Do you recall your first day at school? Do you mind your first day at school? 4) Remember your first day at school. Recall your first day at school. Mind your first day at school.
Thanks for your help!
