Can soneone check my punctuation, please?

Hi

I am using the 100 Exercises in English Usage (Book 3), by the publishers that who have authored "First Aid in English". It is a book for 9 to 10 year olds. Unfortunately, there are no answers to the book (100 Exercises in English Usage Book), other thanh what I have created to mark my son's attempts..

Can someone please check my Punctuation questions below?

Rewrite the following, putting in capital letters, apostrophes and punctuation marks:

  1. john the pipers son stole a pig and away he ran
  2. prince charles and princess diana went holidaying in scotland
  3. my sister mary is sailing on the queen elizabeth to america next saturday
  4. its a days journey from belfast to cork
  5. father mother jill and i spent christmas with uncle john and aunt susan and they have promised to spend easter with us
  6. cousin jack and i visited the lakes of killarney on august bank holiday

All OK except for -

Father, Mother, Jill and I spent Christmas with Uncle John and Aunt Susan, and they have promised to spend Easter with us.

Is mother a proper noun or common noun in this sentence. Sorry, I am confused.

If you say eg 'Father, Mother, . . . ' , these aer proper nouns because you are using the words as names.

If you say eg 'My father, my mother, . . . ' you are using the words as common nouns.
