Can someone review IELTS task 1?

You ordered a new checkbook from your bank two weeks ago but you have received nothing. Write a letter to the manager. In your letter

    • complain about the bad service
    • say when and how you ordered the checkbook
    • ask how much longer you will have to wait and ask the manager what action he will take over this matter.



Dear Sir or Madam,


I am writing to complain about the unsatisfactory service I am receiving from your bank. Your bank claims to offer personalized service to premium customers: however, I am not receiving good service at your branch. It has been two weeks since I have ordered a new checkbook but I have still not received anything from your branch. I tried to contact my dedicated banker for the update but he is not responding to my calls or emails.


I contacted my personalized banker to order a new checkbook on 10th July 2018. He advised me to order it by filling out an online form on your bank website. I immediately followed his guidelines and submitted the form. My banker acknowledged to me that I will receive the checkbook within 5 working days.


I would like to know how much longer I will have to wait for the checkbook. I demand a proper explanation for poor customer service. Also, inform me what action you are going to take over this matter.


I trust that this matter will be resolved as soon as possible.
