can someone plz check my motivation letter for a managerial program?
I am currently completing a Masters degree in Tourism Management at the University of Strathclyde having previously obtained 2.1 in Tourism Business Administration from the Marriot College.
I am writing in response to your entry in your web site in which you mentioned an interest in recruiting ambitious people for positions in Aldemar properties. I am extremely interested in this opportunity, and, as you will see from my enclosed CV, can offer a considerable amount of relevant experience, including:
• Recent employment as a hostess in the Food & Beverage department of a luxury hotel.
• Degree programmes which have included a number of modules relevant to the area of the hotel industry.
• High familiarity with many languages among with very good communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills gained through my work experience and various responsibilities which I have held at University.
In 2000, I worked as a Supervisor of Residence Centre at the Olympic Village of the Olympic Games 2000 in Sydney. This experience helped me to work in a highly demanding environment with a great amount of work load and duties. It was an enormous challenge for me and I do believe that I responded at the demands of the time. I learned to interact with different people and different personalities. Furthermore I was able to learn creative organizational skills by handling unexpected events and challenges. In continuance, I worked in a luxury hotel during high seasons and I gained more work experience and practice of my knowledge.
I am very keen to apply my skills and experience in a forward, international and growing company such as yours. I am particularly impressed by the way Adelmar Hotels are expanding around the world and I would like to contribute to the Adelmar Hotels success.I have always endeavored to do my best and learn as much as possible and I believe that by participating in this program I will achieve my goal. I wish to put into practice my existing knowledge and understanding of Hotel Industry and moreover my professional skills.
