can someone please proofread my financial aid reinstatement appeal letter
Dear office of student financial assistance; I ______ am writing to appeal my suspension of Financial Aid, I was dropped from the University for unsatisfactory scholarship. During my stay at the _____ campus, family problems and reoccurring personal health problems made it very difficult to concentrate on my studies. I suffer from chronic Hepatitis B which I’ve had since birth. With my health problems, my father’s motor vehicle accident and my younger sibling run in with the law and his constant entrance and departure from placements, I couldn’t handle the stress. As a result of my lack and unwillingness to seek help from a facility member, I handle it the worst possible way I knew. I stopped attending classes, my level of interest dropped drastically and I dropped classes that I felt were too difficult or too time consuming. At that point in time I felt as-though there was no other way I could handle my problems, other than the way I had decided to go about it. I fully take responsibilities for my short comings and have since then made changes to how I handle stressful situations. Furthering my education is very important to me, however financially I am unable to pursuit this goal that is why I am genuinely asking for a second chance. If given another chance, I have listed a few things that I plan to do to assist with my academic successes; • Attend class as schedule both physically and mentally • Keep an open line of communication with both my adviser and Professors. • Invest more time in my studies • Seek tutors for classes that I find difficult As well as the steps I plan to take here are a few have achieved; • Enrolled in spring semester and finished with a 3.0 gpa • Schedule for summer II • I have invest more time in my studies which is paying off Again I would like to say thank you for reviewing my appeal, all I need is a another opportunity to succeed. Thank you in advanced
