Me, Myself, and I

Everyone has their own characteristic that makes them unique in their own way. If I were to describe myself with one word, I do not think that would be possible. My character is too complex to be expressed simply by one word. Whether it about my working habits, experience in English, or anything in general, many people consider me to be an independent hardworking person.
I have many positive aspects, as well as negative aspects, as to how competent I am when I do work. Academics play an important role in my life and I enjoy going to school absorbing new information daily. I am the type of person that is very willing to learn and never procrastinate. When I receive an assignment, I have a tendency to finish it as soon as I can so I can move on to my next task. This is the most efficient method of learning for me because I feel relieved when I know something is taken off my “To Do List”. All through my high school life, I also gave myself a school rule I live by it is to never bring a question home. Whenever I do not understand a lesson, I always invite the teacher over to help me grasp the main concept. Doing this has allowed me to be worry-free when I arrive home because I understand all the material the teacher has taught. I am also a very hardworking student, which can sometimes be a negative working habit. I have a tendency to expect myself to be perfect when it comes to academics and this causes me to stress and tense up very often. However, I have been working on learning how to relax at tough times so I won’t get an academic breakdown. The fact that I am hard working is also a positive aspect because it pushes me to do whatever it takes to do the best I can. After all, no one can force themselves to be perfect, but what we can do is try our hardest and have no regrets.
