Hi everyone,
I have to write an explanation letter to become a Canadian citizen but I am not too sure if my grammar is right.
(I must provide a photocopy of both sides of my permanent resident card to the government but I lost it and now I have to explain my situation....)
Dear Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada Officer,
My name is Jooyoung Kim, a permanent resident of Canada since December 27, 2005. I lost my permanent resident card a few weeks ago in Vancouver, British Columbia. Since it is no longer in my possession, I am not able to provide a photocopy of both sides of my permanent resident card. However, I made a photocopy of the front side of my permanent resident card for my own record long time ago and this is attached below.
I appreciate your time and consideration and I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you. If you require any further information, please feel free to contact me at Email Removed or X-XXX-XXX-XXXX.
Best Regards,
Jooyoung Kim
What do you guys think? Does everything look fine? Please let me know. Thanks!
