can someone please check out my writing regarding my cover letter for one job position (can I use something else instead of using I am interested at the begging of my sentences)

I am interested to pursue further my career in a research assistant field where I should operate and calibrate the laboratory equipment and keep them in in the perfect condition. I would also like to help researcher and students with their problem while they are operating their experiment. In addition, I am interested to buy laboratory equipment and supplies.

Yes, In their job advertisement they mentioned that I need to monitor and purchase lab consumables and equipment.

Sorry to keep you hanging on.
I was suggesting, in a rather oblique manner, that you could use the verb 'intend' instead of 'am interested' for the final sentence, as in:

"I intend to buy laboratory equipment and supplies"
