Can someone please check my sentences

Last Sunday, my daughter initiated a family meeting. We talked about our resentments and reconciled. Since then, my daughter is our mediator whenever my husband and I have a misunderstanding. I just hope that my good relationship with my children will continue and to have a happy family.
