Can someone please check my grammar

Jane informed me that she had a talked with Mary of service department about halloween costumes. Mary asked Jane if our department would like to join them as a team for this coming halloween contest. Mary said that they are going to wear prisoners costume and suggested that our department to wear police uniforms. We also have some costume suggestions from our previous meeting, such as cowboys, nuns and the 70s dress styles. We are going to discuss this in our meeting this coming Friday.
