Can someone please check my grammar

Can they change these words " direct supervision" to "general supervision"?

I think for me, direct supervision is like a supervisor is watching me while I'm working to see if I'm doing my work correctly. On the other hand, general supervision means a supervisor can just give direction on how to do something without his or her presence.

Thanks!
