Can someone please check my grammar

It looks like the ending balance was included in the new assets list you sent me but it was not reclassified to the correct account. Please review.

"assets list" should be "asset list".

Is the last clause intended to be still within the scope of "It looks like ..."? If so, I would delete "it was".

Yes (apart from the obvious typo at the start). "looks like" is a bit more informal than "looks as if".
