Can someone look this Essay over and give me tips and corrections!!!! This is my first essay I have had to write in 13 years and I know it needs quite a bit of work

My alarm goes off every morning at 6:45 a.m. I snooze it for ten more minutes and lie there in probably the most ridiculously comfortable position every morning. I rub my eyes, yawn, and finally drag my lazy butt out of bed. I blindly feel my way to the bathroom and turn on the one thing I can’t live without, the shower.
Cleanliness is obviously the most important factor in showering but I like to think of it as more a beautification process. It’s the one place where I can go to pamper myself and feel good about myself just the way I am. There’s no one there to judge me I can let everything all out and feel good about each and every roll and imperfection. I have foam soaps and gel soaps, I have soaps that smell so good you would think they were edible. I have countless sponges, lufas and brushes to suit my mood. Depending on how I’m feeling about my hair I have shampoos that thicken or thin, Plump or flatten and ones that add shimmer and shine. It’s a place I can come out of feeling beautiful.
Unlike life, I have total control of what goes on in my shower. I can adjust the temperature to whatever my mood fits. I can change the settings on my showerhead to whatever I please, it’s total freedom. I can sit, I can stand; I can sing or dance, it’s my time to do what I want when I want; total control.
Alone time is a hard thing to come across at this stage in my life. I sometimes need the silence & relaxation and it’s during my shower santuatry that I can find myself. I’m relaxed, I can let my mind drift and think about things. It’s where I can take time to breath and prepare myself for the day to come. It’s where I can wash off the yesterdays and start a whole new fresh start.
I am not nor will I ever be a morning person and like a cup of coffee is to some that is what my shower is to me. I need that a.m. shower; it awakens my senses, enlivens me, and opens my eyes. Without it, I walk thru a senseless day hazy and never quite awake. Some might think I’m crazy but a shower to me is my haven my sanctuary. Once in a while when I’m laying there in bed and my alarm goes off I think to myself if I skip my shower I can sleep for an extra ten minutes. I then shut off my alarm, rub eyes, yawn and finally drag my lazy butt out of bed. I blindly feel my way to the bathroom and once again turn on the one thing I can’t live without, the shower.
