Can someone help me to rewrite this sentence better? Does "as well as" need a comma before it?

I feel confident that I can come on board and quickly excel in this position because of these experiences, as well as my attention to detail and solid work ethic.

It is kind of a run-on sentence. It reads much more professional as two sentences. Then you don't have to worry about a comma.
