IELTS GT Task 1:
You have organized to go on holiday with your friend. However, you must change your plans.
Write a letter to your friend. In your letter:
Hi Jammy,
I'm writing this letter to let you know the change in plans for the picnic I've arranged.
You won't believe that I'm too much excited for this picnic. Not only I've bought new shoes, but also some t-shirts for this event. For playing indoor games, I requested Chris to purchase a Ludo and cards. Please call him and ask about them.
However, I've just noticed that the weather on this Sunday will not be pleasant. The weather forecast shows that there will be a heavy rainfall with thunderstorm. I'm afraid that our parents may not allow to go the Hawksbay beach. Even if they allow, I don't think that we may be able to drive the car in the extreme weather.
I think instead of cancelling the plan altogether we should change the venue. Instead of going to the beach, we can either go to the Arena Club or Golf Club. What do you suggest?
Let me know your plans ASAP.
Regards,
Disha
