the war I always dread I sit alone in fear, Wondering ! Weather or not the war is near. Yet I have not shed a single tear, Just sat alone, Dreading the moment , The war gets here,
Dark grey sky’s are approaching I hear children screaming Ever body’s fearing The sirens blazing from the distance Boom ! Boom! The war is here.
The sky is red Everyone scattered from there beds Hope they find nobody dead. Boom! Boom! The sky’s blood red
I ran and ran as fast as I could As my legs would Out to the shelter that’s were I will go To get away from this dread full show
In the shelter I will be safe Away from the bombing This is where I think I will stay Until this war goes a way And wish for a brighter day
I will go to sleep Will not peep What I will do.
I sit a lone in fear Have shed so many a tear People sit in fear. Of this war that’s hear.
Boom! Boom! Rattle of the shelters roof
I am scared This is something I always dread Wish I was tucked up at home in my bed.
