Can someone check this expression please?

Hi all,
I don't feel comfortable with these two sentences. Could you please check them for me? Thanks a lot!

Due to limited time frame, I was not able to go further into the functional mechanisms of the examined proteins during my master’s projects. This has long been a regret to me.

'Due to a limited time frame' is an awkward phrase

Hi Clive,

It sounds more natural now.

Thanks for your help!

I agree. Due to limited time is much better. When you write English, keep it simple. This is the best advice if you want people to understand it.
