Can someone check my letter?

Dear Ms. Reichart and Mr. van Welzen,

My name is Fien, and I am 15-year old fifth-grader. I am writing this letter because I would like to participate in the European Educational Project.

In my opinion, this is a project which is a very good fit for me. Why? The EEP stands for social, environmental & architectural sustainability. This is something that interests me very much. Because nowadays, the climate change is one of the biggest problems - in some opinions the biggest - in the world, and I think that together we should make an end to this.The world should be informed very fast of how to be more sustainable, and I would like to make a start. In my house, we already have switched from regular gas to green gas. We also lower the central heating very frequently. This is because we would like to reduce our footprint on the world. This is a great beginning, but there is more to learn and do about this problem.

Which also comes with this project is debating, and I would like to improve my debating skills. Because this is something that is helpful for the subject history and the rest of my (school) career.

I am a creative, enthusiastic and motivated student whose creative ideas would make the project very successful.
