Can someone check my discriptive writing , are there any errors and things that need to be edited.

I was on my way from school, it was a Friday, walking outside, I walked passed this man, I seen that he had dark hair and white skin. I while walking passed him I smelled blood. I continue to walk faster and faster. I kept looking behind me and I see blood dripping from his shirt. I see footprints of blood form his shoes as I was walking in the direction that he had come from. Finally, I had reached my front door and walked inside. I took a deep breath and sat down. I smelled fresh roses. I stood up and I saw that my mother getting her leather coat on. “Mom, where are you and dad headed to” She replied “the local fundraiser for the animal society is tonight.” I did not respond, instead I watched my parents leave out the front door. I then went to our couch and sat down. I turned the Television on. “We have just received a report from the local police, a serial killer is on the loose!” said the new reporter,” The police are advising the whole community to lock all doors and windows”. I ran like a dog up the stairs. I checked each window to make sure they were all secure. The bathroom window I could not get to lock. The window is the size of a doggy door. I told myself that no one could get in. Therefore, I left it, ran down stairs, and looked to see if all the doors and window were secure. They were all secure. I decided to go to bed early. I walked upstairs and took out some orange plaid pajamas. They feel so soft up against my skin, I dropped my hand down underneath the bed so my dog would come and lick my hand. I did not feel anything, I looked under the bed and all I saw was some schoolbooks, pens and dirty socks. I turned the light out. I put my head to my soft pillow. I spring my head up from my pillow; I hear drip, drip, drip, and drop. “Oh it’s just the faucet in the bathroom, it will be okay,” I said to myself. I than lay my head back down my soft white pillow and go to sleep. I get waken up out of my sleep. This time I am hearing DRIP, DROP, DRIP, and DROP. I jump from my bed and walk to the bathroom! I walk into something that feels wet, hairy and heavy. I smell the scent of blood. I switch the bathroom light on. I look and I see my dog, he is hung up by his neck. His stomach is cut wide open and his mutilated insides are on the floor, at my feet!
