Can somebody please check this text for any errors? It would mean the world to me.

OK, so this is the text :

The tobacco growers satisfied with today’s meeting with the purchasers.

The purchase of tobacco continues. The tobacco growers were satisfied from today’s meeting with the purchasers that took place at the Ministry of Agriculture. They asked for a more realistic quality evaluation, taking up the tobacco in three classes and an average price of $4.

“The purchasing organizations need to classify the tobacco in three classes - practically we should get 30 per cent of the handed tobacco to be in first class, 60 per cent in second, and 10 per cent in third A. We would reach a satisfactory price of $4 per kilo of raw tobacco”, says John Green.

From the tobacco companies alliance there is an appeal to the growers to bring the tobacco to the purchase points.

“The purchase companies started the purchasing precisely in the legal time limit, but not in all regions equally. They need to open the most important purchase points first. We’ll recommend to the growers to bring the tobacco”, says Steven Rush, the president of the tobacco companies alliance.

The tobacco growers hope that there will be no need of further meetings or protests. However, if any problems occur, they hinted a meeting with the purchasers, only this time not in the Ministry, but on the field.

So, I bolded "taking up" because I'm not sure if that is the correct verb to use - meaning the purchasing companies to recieve the tobacco from the growers in 3 classes.... Are there any other errors? This would mean the world to me.

Thank you...

Thanks, but what I was looking for is a verb that will describe the action of the companies recieving the tobacco and paying money to the growers.

Something like - recieving, accepting, .... I'm not sure what to use.

Thank you for the correction - INTO. I will have that in mind.

So, besides that do you think this text is without errors?

Oh, OK. But that action (delivery, inspection, an paying) does not fit with the rest of the paragraph. The paragraph describes a meeting in which the specification of grades and prices are being a

Right...

By handed tobacco I ment to say the tobacco given by the growers but I guess that's not a proper way to say it. Maybe I could say the tobacco that is being handed over by the growers or sth... But I might as well skip that word since the meaning will not be changed. I will just say - the tobacco, and that's that.

This has been of a lot of help so far, thank you. I will c
