With the development of technology, virtual classes have been increasingly attractive to a myriad of schools these days. It is true that whether it can replace traditional learning or not remains a debatable topic in the field of education. While e-learning does have some merits, I would maintain that conventional education is of greater importance.
On the one hand, there are several reasons for supporting online learning. First of all, e-learning provides a flexible learning method for students. It means that students can study whenever they want and choose whatever courses they fancy. Regardless of age, educational level, and family background, everyone can approach the same field of knowledge. Even if they prefer to study at high speed, especially to prepare for tests or exams, virtual classes now enable them to learn more effectively. The second reason is that it would help to save time for traveling. Instead of going to school every morning and coming back home in the afternoon, students now only need to stay at home and study whatever they want with the help of laptops. It is so convenient for those who are living in off the beaten track areas. Last but not least, e-learning might be a suitable alternative due to the breakout of the Covid-19 pandemic as there is no requirement for social interaction.
While there are good arguments in favor of electronic learning as mentioned above, I would believe that it will not replace traditional education. The top reason might be the maintenance of interpersonal relationships. With regard to offline classes, students have direct contact with their teachers to discuss the assignments, while the options are limited in terms of online learning. Besides, since students are encouraged to teamwork to finish their projects, it will require them to communicate with their friends. Furthermore, e-learning would help to promote students' comprehensive development. Since schools organize schedules to make sure students joining classes on time, students will get a routine of their own, which will inevitably make them punctual and disciplined. Also, such experiences as field trips and school activities are some fascinating experiences. From those activities, students are liable to acquiring life lessons that will be beneficial in the future.
In conclusion, although both offline and online learning has numerous advantages, it seems to me that traditional classes will always hold a crucial position in the field of education.

If this is IELTS Task 2, you wrote an essay that is much longer than necessary.
